Kanazawa Japan Intercontinental Hotel

On March 13, 2014, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) opened its first hotel in Japan, the Kanazawa Intercontinental Hotel in Hokkaido, Japan. The world's leading luxury group will be represented by Anbang Insurance Group Co. (LPI) until 14 January 2021 and will open its doors in the city of Kansai on the northern coast of Japan in 2021. In a city renowned for its beer, wine, food and culture, one of the "world's most famous hotel brands" has opened the first luxury hotel of its kind on an island with more than 1.5 million inhabitants.
